For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. (1 Thess 5:9-10 NKJV)
God's plan is simple. It's easy to understand because it has never changed. God's plan is that we "live together with Him."
The Garden of Eden was designed for God and Humanity's relationship. It was a place where Humans could interact with the Divine. Our sin brought some challenges. We messed things up. But in Jesus, He fixed it all.
God's plan isn't for some far off distant spiritual existence with Him. Yes, He wants a future relationship with us. But it is supposed to begin here and now.
Father, I want to walk in your plans for me. I want to walk in relationship with you. Help me to realize you are near me always, and that Jesus makes the way for us relate to each other. In Jesus name, Amen.
